I don't
know how
to send
my
gratitude
for the

I
received
when I
was in
panic
mode. I
had my

awhile
back and
was told

thing's
would
change
and they
sure
did!
I wasn't
sure
what
would or
wouldn't
change
but one

was how

pictures

located
and now

access

severe
jam
(I had

severe

I had no
security,
my

working
at all
as well

now. My

works
like
brand

totally

"I
am dumbfounded to say the least. It sure is great
to see quality, efficiency and value all in one
place these days. I was at my wits end with a
Microsoft Word problem. I called everyone I could
think of but no one seemed to have the answer.
Finally, I called another computer tech company in Canmore.
He came over quickly but spent 3 hours and didn't
fix the problem and he charged me almost 300 bucks
to boot! I was leery of calling another tech but I
had no choice since Microsoft would not help me!
That's when I decided to give Computer HouseCalls a
try. Daniel came right over within an hour. He had
10 pages of documentation on my problem and I was
encouraged to see that. He said that he was going
to systematically approach things so he could be
here for a while or it could be fixed quickly. I
was skeptical and began to brace myself for another
hefty bill but I calmly agreed and left him to it.
Well it was not 3 minutes after I left the room when
he called me back again stating the problem was
fixed!! I was speechless. He then proceeded to
prove it to me several ways. I am thankful to say
the least. Well if that wasn't enough, he then
asked me if I had any other problems and as I rhymed
them off he began fixing them for me 1 by 1. Now
that's going the extra mile!

"I had an excellent experience with Computer
HouseCalls. I called on a holiday expecting
to get a machine. When the technician
(Daniel) answered I was really surprised
when he told me he could be at my house in
two hour’s time. I told him I was at work
but could he come next day at noon?
He did. ...my computer was really slow and I
needed quite a few things. He gave me an
estimate and we went ahead. He had my
machine ready in two day’s time. In
addition, he upgraded me from an old MS
Office Home to the new MS Office Business
version at a very
good price. This gave me the
PowerPoint program I really needed. He
later installed an 19 inch LCD wide-screen
monitor and a TV in card; installed
Norton security, blew the dust out of my
machine and added more RAM. I can now
download on line and watch TV at the same
time. I love to wait until the commercials
come, then cover them up with what I am
doing.
The Computer HouseCalls service was fast,
efficient and really good value for all the
work that I asked to be done. I did have a minor
issue later and I called Daniel about it.
He made a complimentary visit the same day
which helped and, two days later,
he again talked me through how to fix an
unrelated problem
over the phone (no charge again too) . This
was all I needed to continue doing the many
things I like to do on my PC.
I was pleased also when Don, the Computer
HouseCalls MAC technician came and picked up
my really old MAC. He was able to transfer
my data to an i MAC I had inherited. He
asked me what I wanted to do with my IMAC
and I said I would like a color HyperCard
program. And I needed a new printer. He also
had to get me a mouse and a keypad as my old
ones would not work with the new MAC.
Don returned in good time with my working
MAC (with which I am really pleased) and the
bill (which was much lower than I expected).
The iridescent blue is neat! He is going to
obtain a
Super Card
for me and find me a color inkjet printer
which is both MAC and PC compatible. I
wanted this ability as it allows me much
more choice with my printers should one or
another fail. I also appreciate this as I am
a senior and don’t want to order products on
line.
All in all, I am really pleased with the
prompt service and good attention I received
with Computer HouseCalls. I will call them
in the future when I need help with my

"Our hard
drive crashed and we had foolishly not backed up
most of our files. Most stressful was the loss of
pictures of our granddaughter and of the graduation
of one of our daughters. A call to Computer
HouseCalls resulted in Daniel coming to our house
within a couple of hours. After a quick diagnosis he
took the computer with him and two days later he
returned it with a new hard drive as well as
upgrades such as a DVD drive and more RAM. But most
important, he was able to retrieve ALL the files
from the damaged hard drive including the very

"We
had a dead machine. You know, one of those you buy
in a computer store that never lasts. Daniel came
over to investigate promptly as promised. He took
one look at the machine and seemed to have a good
idea what the problem was. He offered to do some
extensive testing on the hardware but also gave us
an option to upgrade it at a very low cost at the
same time to save labor cost on diagnostics and
repair. We had owned the computer for quite some
time so reconsidered the offer seriously. We
eventually took him up on it and haven't looked back
since. Our old, slow jalopy of a computer is now a
